Childhood and adolescence are full of exciting changes. Yet, navigating these
developmental stages often brings emotional challenges, creating stress and disconnection
within families. If your child is struggling and you're feeling overwhelmed—you're not alone.
I'm here to help.
Growing up can be confusing and overwhelming. Children and teens may experience:
Sadness, anxiety, or mood swings
Bullying or social difficulties
Behavioural or attention challenges (ADHD)
Learning disabilities or school refusal
Family changes like divorce or blended families
Trauma, grief, or toileting issues
I offer child-centred therapy using creative and engaging methods such as art, play,
drawing, journaling, and storytelling—tools that help children express themselves in a safe,
non-judgmental environment
Children don’t grow in isolation. Parents and caregivers are crucial to their emotional well-
being. That's why I also work closely with you to:
Understand your child’s challenges
Improve communication and attachment
Learn tools and strategies to support behaviour and development
Navigate parenting challenges, separation/divorce, and blended family dynamics
I explore your own parenting experiences and offer practical, compassionate support to
help you feel calmer, more confident, and more connected.
Our first step is a 50-minute intake session with parents/caregivers to explore your child’s developmental history, family dynamics, and goals for therapy. Together, we’ll decide on the most effective approach—whether that involves your child individually, the whole family, or certain members.
I blend directive and non-directive methods like:
Play
Art (paint, clay, sand tray)
Whiteboard/technology
Mindfulness and movement
Narrative techniques
Just chatting
Our goal is to create an affirming, compassionate space where children feel safe to explore,
grow, and heal.
Parenting is one of the most rewarding—and challenging—roles. If you're feeling
overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure, support is available. Together, I can help you build
stronger bonds with your child and create a more peaceful, connected family life.
